Wreck and Reference - No Youth
Twisted and tortured experimental metal from the windswept wasteland of California. Black metal shrieks mix with David Tibet-like invokations, harsh synthesizer drones meet thunderous blastbeats and walls of abrasive noise in a mass of unrecognizable black sludge. I think the term “noise metal” would at least partially describe the sound of Wreck and Reference. Also, check out their debut release, Black Cassette.
