The debut release by the Canadian composer who prefers free-wandering sonic landscapes from songs. Ambient and krautrock fuse together in a holy union fueled by the fascination with culture and music of Central Asia. Indeed, every title on the album refers to a different remote geographical location - deserts, mountains, plains, regions… The sound is majestic and soothing, relaxing and massive. Prepare for lots, LOTS of guitar with lots, LOTS of delay. And some occasional throat singing here and there. Recommended.
