YlangYlang is the cosmic psychedelia project by the Montreal based sound explorist Catherine Debard. Jumping effortlessly between genres, from New Age to lo-fi ambient pop to hazy krautrock. There’s a lot of ethereal, fragile beauty here, but there are also surprisingly heavy moments, like the droning, thumping “Coeur Circuit”. Perfect slow-down-and-daydream-for-a-while music.
